Learning English & Its Advantages For Several Aspects

Good morning people en overleefde zondag voor alles of mijn vrienden. It's been a several weeks I didn't post anything on the blog due I focus on the final exam of this third semester. Thank God that I can do the exam pretty well and now is I just hope that I get the best score for every subject then. By the way, due I'm an English Language and Culture department student, have you ever ask in yourself why I choose this department? What are the advantages choosing this subject? How you gonna get a job with this subject and department? Some people asking me about those things for a several times. Well, the answer is simple. I learn English since I was a little kid, maybe around 6 or seven years old and I love learning the language, culture and also the history. The fact is, I don't like anything that related with the numbers, I like anything that related with the words. So, what are the advantages of learning English just like myself now? I give you several things to you for know that what the advantages of learning English are.
The English language is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, second only to Mandarin. That English is used almost everywhere is only one of the many advantages of learning the language. One of the primary benefits of learning English is that it is often considered the language of global business. The international business community often uses it for communication, even among people who do not speak the same native language. Speaking and understanding English can let a person more easily communicate with others and find more job opportunities not only in his or her home country, but around the world as well. There are also many professional informative publications printed in English, which means it is often an essential language for anyone working in science or research. There are several aspects that English is the important thing to learn and to be understand.

1. Business & Employment Opportunities:
English is the primary language of business throughout the world. Most international business transactions, including emails, memos, reports and contracts, are written in English. For many people, the benefits of learning English include broadening their employment opportunities, since it is used so commonly in business. People who speak two or more languages are often ideal candidates for jobs in travel, international business, or translation. Many government agencies and employers that offer work with the general public, such as positions in law enforcement or healthcare, often look for multilingual candidates

2. Social Networking & Relationships:
Many people see the ability to communicate and talk with others as one of the major benefits of learning English. Even outside of a professional environment, people often like to be able to talk to individuals from around the world. Many people find great social and cultural benefits in having pen pals from other countries, and the Internet makes such communication fast and easy. Knowing English can broaden the types of people you can speak to, whether its via emailor on an online discussion forum. A tremendous number of websites are available primarily in English, and anyone who does not understand the language may have difficulty using them. For anyone interested in traveling to countries in which English is the primary or common language, it is often essential to understand and speak it. Throughout the UK, US, and Canada, traveling and shopping are often made easier by speaking the language since many individuals may not speak any other language. One of the most important benefits of learning English is the ability to explore these regions and more easily communicate with locals to learn about places and events that might otherwise remain unknown. Many people in European countries learn English in school, so knowing it can also be of benefit when traveling in locations even where it's not the native tongue. Learning a language can also be a great way to meet people, even if you never plan on leaving home. A class at a local community center or college can introduce you to a wide variety of people who are also interested in English, and give you the opportunity to interact with them in a controlled setting. Language courses often encourage students to carry on conversations with each other in the language being learned, and this can be a great way to break the ice with new people.

3. Entertainment & Cultural Understanding:
A huge amount of popular entertainment comes out of Hollywood, and nearly all of it is produced in English. American movies and TV programs are distributed all over the world, and are often subtitled for people who don't speak the language. Knowing English can allow you to better understand the subtleties of dialog that subtitles frequently miss. It can be a challenge to translate concepts and terms that don't match one-for-one between languages, and nuances of meaning can be lost. Language is an inherently cultural construct. How people speak, the words they choose, and the topics under discussion are deeply tied into the culture of a place. By learning English or any other language, you are putting yourself into the mindset of a native speaker and are introduced to many of the concepts that he finds important. Gaining a better understanding of other cultures can help you to enrich your own understanding of the world and how others see it. Major Hollywood movies have dialogue in English. The plot of these movies is easier to follow if the person watching the movie speaks English. Subtitles in other languages can sometimes cause the meanings of words to be lost in the translation, and they can be a distraction or even block the action taking place on the screen.

4. Research & Academics:
Because English is a first language for many countries, many other nations teach it as a requirement in schools. It is estimated that over a billion people in the world speak English on at least a basic level. For many people, the benefits of learning English involve the new opportunities that become available to someone who understands it. Anyone interested in attending a university in the US, for example, needs to speak it or be able to pass a test proving that he or she is fluent. Many of the most prominent and well known publications throughout the world are written and printed in English. Scholars interested in doing research at an academic level, or working on new scientific developments, should consider the benefits of learning English to read these periodicals and publish their own work. Publication in peer-reviewed journals is often required for someone who wishes to remain in academia, and the ability to read and write in English may be necessary to maintain such a position. Even learning about current events often requires an understanding of the language, since so many global publications and news websites use it. The English language is the predominant language of academics all over the world, with a large amount of research conducted, written and presented in English. Knowing English can helpful for scholars who wish to communicate their ideas and research findings to peers in their field.

So, the conclude is, English at this time is one of the most important language for the era of global right now. People in every place, in a abroad are using English. You can see that English language is the important language for several important aspects in our life. Not only Enlgish, but also for every language in this world are important for us. Language is the important thing to connect each other country or nation or company from abroad. Try to learning language as much as you possible because learning several languages can bring you to the huge world that give you a new experiences and also new knowledges to know, Okay, that's all about English language and its important aspects for our life. I hope you guys now understand that how important English language for yourself. That's all for today and see you later fellas.

Dutch Classic Song by Mevrouw Wieteke van Dort

Goeden avond alles of mijn vrienden. It's nice to see you again. Have you ever listen a Dutch song? Even it is the classic or the modern one? If you don't, I'll give you one of the classic Dutch song that related with my beloved country, Indonesie (Indonesia in Dutch language). This song was very close with the people of Indonesia, especially for its cullinary. The name of the song is "Geef Mij Maar Nasi Goreng" or in English is "Give Me More Nasi Goreng", very close from its culture isn't it? This song is sung by a mevrouw (woman in Dutch language) named Louisa Johanna Theodora "Wieteke" van Dort or we know she as Tante Lien. Tante Lien itself is a Dutch people that born in Surabaya but on her 14 years old, she move away to Den Haag until now. This song also have a story for mevrouw van Dort itself that related with her childhood in Indonesia. The Story is :

Story
At 1957, Irian's conflict between the government of Indonesia and the Netherlands are make the Indonesian government make the anti sentiment of the west country, especially Dutch people and its country. This make mevrouw van Dort move away to Netherlands. Tante lien, as we called her, didn't like the climate and also the cullinary in Dutch. So from here, in Netherlands, she express her miss and love about Indonesia especially its cullinary with the song named "Geef Mij Maar Nasi Goreng".

That's a simple story from the song. Every song has its own story, so this song have their own story. This song lyrics is written in Dutch language, but there are several things like Indonesian cullinary that have been input the lyrics like lontong, sate babi, kerupuk, and many more. Are you curious with the song? Especially the lyrics? No need more time, check this out!

Geef Mij Maar Nasi Goreng

By : Wieteke van Dort

So, that is about the song that related with the Indonesian culture, especially its cullinary sung by the Dutch people, Tante Liem. We, as the Indonesian people must proud because far away from our beloved country, there are still a people that love the Indonesian culture. We must, keep our culture alive and we must expand our unique culture abroad to make all the people around the world know about Indonesia, especially its culture. That's all for this little bit history and a song. Goeden avond alles meneer, mevrouw, en mijn vrienden and also my felow reader. Dank U en tot ziens! Overleefde dinsdag vriend.

Classic France Song

Hello and bonjour to my fellow readers. We wake up in the bright morning, so keep up to get your dream. This morning, when i didn't do anything, I just listen the music at my room. When I listen the music on my notebook, I listen one of the classic song. The song is from France, so it means that the language of the lyrics is France too. I get this song from one of my friends that he take the French Literature at his college. Well, for me this is a difficult language. I don't know why he chose that literature but I hope all the best for him. Anyway, the name of the song is "La Vie en Rose". This is a quite old song. This song is written in 1945, popularized in 1946, and released as a single in 1947 from the French cabaret singer, Edith Piaf. The genre of the song is Traditional Pop. Can you imagine how old this song? This song is more older than The beatles or Elvis Presley. Now I give you the lyrics of the song. I suggest if you want to know the lyrics, you can using a Google translate because I don't really undertand a French language unless you are fluent to speak French.

La Vie en Rose

By : Edith Piaf

This song is about the romantic things like the feeling of heart. Well, it is a good enough to feel the classical thing when you listen this song. If you want to learn about French language, this one maybe help you to understand the French language a bit. Ok, that's for this simple post from the monday morning. Goeden morgen en tot zien.

Fatal Frame III : The Tormented

Hi guys, have you ever play a game with a gameplay that you must take a photo of ghost? No kidding! maybe you think about that. But, there is a fact that have a game with that gameplay. The name of the game is "Fatal Frame". Its a Japanese game and the sequel of the Fatal Frame itself is for a platform PlayStation 2 and Wii. Today, I'd like to give the information about the third sequel of the Fatal Frame series. The sequel is "Fatal Frame III : The Tormented". In Japan know as "Zero : Shisei no Koe" (in English " Zero : Voice of the Tattoo" ). This game is a third installment for the Fatal Frame series and also game takes place two years after Fatal Frame and about two months after Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly. The game was realesed for PlayStation 2 on July 28, 2005 in Japan and November 8, 2005 for North America. The genre of the game is survival horror. So, let's discuss about the gameplay and also the plot of the game.

Plot
23-year-old freelance photographer Rei Kurosawa has been mourning the death of her fiancé, Yuu Asou, after a car accident caused by his reckless driving. About two months after his death, while on assignment for the derelict Kuze mansion, Rei discovers his image on one of the photos she had taken. Shortly after, she begins having recurring nightmares of an old Japanese manor house—the "Manor of Sleep"—during a heavy snowfall, where she is touched by a tattooed ghost.Upon waking, Rei notices a mysterious bruise on her body, where the ghost had touched her; this mark spreads each time she dreams about the Manor. As Rei continues to explore the Manor of Sleep, she begins to receive investigation notes from Kei Amakura, a close friend of Yuu who writes in his letters that he and his niece Mio both have similar symptoms.Rei learns that her photography assistant, Miku Hinasaki, is also under the same curse. The lines between dream and reality blur when ghosts began appearing in Rei's house, and the bruise on her body continues to expand and form a snake-and-holly tattoo similar to the tattooed ghost who touched her. Rei learns through uncovering diaries and research that the dreams are caused by Reika Kuze, the last Tattooed Priestess tasked with the duty of containing others' emotional pain within the tattoos on her body.

Although meant to rest for eternity, Reika had unintentionally released "the Rift", a form of darkness which destroyed the village, after her childhood lover Kaname was murdered in front of her eyes. Now corrupted and unable to rest, she haunts people with a strong attachment to dead loved ones. Within time, the tattoos Reika had cursed her victims with will completely cover their bodies and cause them to disappear, leaving behind black soot, although following the dead would eventually lead to death as well.Because of Rei's attachment to Yuu; Miku's to her brother Mafuyuand Kei's strong connection to Mio, mourning for her sister Mayu, all three are trapped in the Manor of Sleep. When Miku enters a coma, Rei loses all hope of ending the curse until Kei suggests that by staking down Reika's body in the Chamber of Thorns, she can rest peacefully and no longer endanger them. However, he becomes trapped in the chamber himself upon making a horrific discovery: Reika's body has already been pinned to the ground. With only Rei remaining, she confronts Reika and exorcises her spirit. Following the lyrics of a song in the ritual, Rei puts the bodies of Reika and Kaname in a small boat and pushes it across an underground sea behind the stone ritual chamber - the Abyss of the Horizon, the passage to the spirit world. As the boat begins to vanish into the distance, other dead spirits begin to cross the sea, one of them being Yuu. The tattoo which now covers Rei's body transfers to Yuu, who insists that she must go on living and keep his memory alive. Once Rei and Miku wake up, they resume their normal lives.

Gameplay
In Fatal Frame III, the player uses the vintage "Camera Obscura" to photograph and dispel ghosts. The player explores in third-person in either the Manor of Sleep or the real world. On the main screen is a "Ghost Filament", which indicates a ghost's presence; red signals a hostile ghost, while blue indicates a neutral ghost. At any point in the game, the player can enter first-person mode via the viewfinder, used for photographing ghosts. The Camera Obscura has a limited amount of film for ammunition, and the player must search areas thoroughly to obtain more. The player gains points through defeating ghosts or by taking pictures of neutral ghosts or seals. These points can be used to upgrade different aspects of the camera, such as range and sensitivity
The character itself from the game are : Rei Kurosawa, Kei Amakura and Miku Hinasaki. These are the the protagonists during the gameplay. And also the song for the game's ending is "Koe" sung by Tsukiko Amano. For me, its a game that can make you scared enough and shocked enough too. Just Imgaine that you must fight against a ghost or spirit  things using a camera and take a picture of that scariest things, really challenge your adrenalin right? Don't play the game alone or you just brave enough to get the shocked things from the game alone?

I must get the best GPA for this semseter. The good things from this month beside the final of third semester is I have my money back! So it means that I get my money full. Now I can go or eat whatever I want easily. But still, I need to manage my money for the big target for three years later. My big target is have a one of the big motorcycle like Ninja 250, CBR 250, R25, or Z250. But, that things have one rival, sometimes I think that have a car is more comfortable than have a big motorcycle. Yeah, well let's keep those dreams for next 3 years. It doesn't matter for this time to choose big bike or one car. The must things to do is keep focus to have the final target, manage my money, and work hard for my target.
