Peran Media dan Aspek Kemanusiaan

“Hmm.. Rasanya kayak lagi kuliah lagi kalo ngikutin seminar kayak gini. Kangen masa itu..”

Kalo boleh untuk berbicara di dalam hati, itulah hal yang akan gue katakan. Yup! Masa kuliah dimana gue cukup sering mengikuti berbagai seminar yang diadakan oleh pihak kampus ataupun dari pihak jurusan sendiri. Mau cuman ngikut sebagai peserta? Ikut.. Atau mungkin jadi panitia seminar? Hayuu aja.. Ahh, masa dimana gue menimba ilmu dan juga dimana gue menikmati hidup-hidup sebagai mahasiswa.. Takkan terlupakan..

Well, untuk kali ini gue gak akan membicarakan mengenai masa-masa gue menjadi mahasiswa itu kok.. Tenang.. Tenang.. Topik pada hari ini gak ada hubungannya dengan dunia kuliah ya Friends. Untuk cerita kali ini, gue akan menceritakan mengenai suatu seminar yang kemarin baru saja gue ikuti di kantor. Yaa, kalo boleh jujur sii sebenarnya gue lebih memilih untuk menggunakan waktu gue buat ngelakuin berbagai hal yang gue suka macem me time, istirahat sejenak di hari weekend, ataupun tidur.. Hmm, tapi karena ini diwajibkan oleh kantor untuk ikut seminarnya ya apa boleh kata. Gue yaa berpikir positive aja, siapa tau apa yang gue dengar bisa bermanfaat dan terlebih cukup menghibur di kala akhir pekan.

Nahh untuk seminar kemarin, kantor gue menyelenggarakan sebuah seminar yang mempunyai tema “Seminar Media dan Kemanusiaan” yang diselenggarakan di gedung Yayasan Buddha Tzu Chi Indonesia. Mengingat ulang Tahun dari Tzu Chi sendiri yang ke 25 tahun, DAAI TV sebagai salah satu bagian dari badan misi yayasan ini tentu juga ingin merayakan hari jadi yayasan yang mempunyai gedung di daerah Pantai Indah Kapuk ini. Tentu tentang apa yang diselenggarakan acaranya, tak jauh-jauh mengenai media karena tohh DAAI TV merupakan suatu media penyiaran yang sudah malang-melintang di dunia pertelevisian Indonesia.

Back to topic, jadi di seminar ini sendiri, DAAI TV juga mengundang beberapa tokoh-tokoh besar yang turut berperan dalam dunia media serta dunia kemanusiaan guys. Ya, ini juga menurut gue menjadi salah satu penyemangat untuk mengikuti seminar di kala rasa hati di diri ingin beristirahat dirumah. Dan memang, gue sendiri cukup excited untuk melihat para tokoh tersebut secara langsung. Lho, kok excited? Lahh iya dong, wong melihat mereka aja biasanya cuman di televisi hahaha..

Untuk tokoh yang pertama sendiri ada Bapak Moeldoko. Siapa yang tak kenal dengan beliau? Tentu kalian sudah mengenalinya bukan? Seorang mantan Panglima TNI yang sekarang menjabat sebagai  Kepala Staf Kepresidenan RI ini menjadi sosok pembicara pertama yang menyampaikan pesan di panggung acara. Pak Moeldoko sendiri memberikan beberapa informasi dimana peran pemerintah dalam media serta upaya apa saja yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam menanggulangi hoax yang sekarang cukup masif di kalangan masyarakat. Selain itu, Pak Moeldoko juga memberikan informasi mengenai tantangan apa kedepannya bagi Indonesia yang akan menuju ke era industri 4.0 guys.

Selain Pak Moeldoko, ada juga tokoh yang tak kalah pentingnya di dalam seminar ini. Selanjutnya ada Pak Rudiantara selaku Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika RI. Tentu sebagai sosok dimana yang mengurus segala hal tentang media, jaringan komunikasi, bahkan internet yang ada di Indonesia ini, beliau juga memberikan beberapa pesan dimana pentingnya peran media dalam menyampaikan berita informasi guys. Pak Rudiantara juga memberikan himbauan dalam seminar ini agar kita tidak gampang dengan berita bohong a.k.a hoax serta bersama-sama memerangi kumpulan berita hoax tersebut agar dunia informatika kita bisa menjadi lebih sehat dan juga terbebas dari berita bohong.

Nahh, sosok pembicara yang terakhir menurut gue adalah salah satu tokoh yang cukup dikenal di dunia pertelevisian Indonesia serta putri bungsu dari Presiden ke-4 yaitu Pak Abdurrahman Wahid atau yang dikenal dengan sebutan Gus Dur. Hayoo tebak siapakah dia? Ya! Mba Inayah Wahid! Untuk di sesi ini sendiri, Mba Inayah lebih condong menceritakan dari sisi kemanusiaan guys. Dengan mengambil contoh dari sisi sang ayah, Mba Inayah juga menceritakan bagaimana kemanusiaan itu juga termasuk dalam cara kita dalam menghormati sesama manusia serta berkawan dengan semua orang tanpa memandang latar belakang mereka (suku, agama, ataupun ras). Dari apa yang disampaikan oleh Mba Inayah, tentu gue sangat.. sangat.. 100% setuju dengan apa yang disampaikan oleh Mba Inayah. Kita harus menghormati semua orang dan hidup secara harmoni tanpa memandang latar belakang dari orang tersebut guys!

Selain ketiga tokoh tadi, ada juga pesan-pesan yang disampaikan oleh beberapa tokoh seperti dari Ketua Umum Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) yaitu KH Said Aqil Siradj dan serta juga ada Bapak Hong Tjhin selaku CEO dari DAAI TV sendiri. Buat gue sendiri, seminar kemain cukup memberikan inspirasi dan juga pandangan buat gue sebagai insan media pada saat ini. Setelah mendengar materi-materi yang disampaikan oleh para tokoh tersebut, gue menyadari kalau media juga turut berperan dalam kehidupan kita dalam aspek kemanusiaan. Selain itu, media juga berperan sangat besar untuk menyebarkan informasi positif yang bisa disampaikan untuk masyarakat luas.

Nahh dari seminar kemarin, gue pun juga berharap agar media-media di Indonesia dapat terbebas dari banyaknya berita bohong atau biasa yang disebut hoax serta media sendiri dapat meberikan nilai-nilai positif bagi kehidupan berbangsa kita. Tentu hidup dengan damai, aman dan juga tenteram di bumi Indonesia menjadi impian kita bukan? Maka dari itu, yukk kita sebarkan kebaikan serta berita positif di media-media Indonesia..

Community is Not About 'Community'

Nowadays, there are so many communities that we can found in a big city like Jakarta for example. Commmunities that with a same interest things such are food, blogger, toys, sports, automotives, or even games, can you easily found in here. For me, I bet that it is easy to you to find a community which is having the same interest for you. Anyway, talking about a community in Jakarta which are so many communities ih here, I have a short story about this one. In this article, I will focused on the community which I already joined. Well, its new for me in this community since I change my mind to find another community. So, what community that I joined up? Now, I join with a new motorcycle community which is based on the Central Jakarta area. In this article, I didn’t want to focus on the community itself (maybe later I will tell more about my community).  In here, I just want to focused about what is the benefit that you can get when you involving and active in a community that you like. Curious about those things? Let’s discuss it one by one.

Okay, first of all I want to tell you that I joined up in one of a automotive community which is focused on a motorcycle. And yes, the name of that community is Motorcycle Owners Community Indonesia or MOCI for short. Anyway one thing you should know that there is nothing related with a cake which is named moci (a traditional cake in Indonesia). I joined in this community when the founder itself, Sonny, contact me to joined up. Since I think it sounds interesting to join his community, well without any things to think then I joined up with this community. In short, I am a person that love to join the automotive community. I love it because automotive is an one of a things that I like since when I was a kid. You can imagine how many toys which are cars and motorcycles that I had at my home.. Ooh so many, until my parents confuse about so many toys in my home.. Because now I am already in a legal age, so I can go easily to implement my hobby  and of course in a positive activities. One of that is by joining the automotive communities. So, based on my thought, I have 2 things which are the benefit to you by joining in one community. What are the benefits?

First, about link. Of course when you join in a community, absolutely you will get a new friends. Friends that can share and discuss about the same interest with you. Getting a new friend is very important to bigger your link and connections. This link, maybe one day you will need them to share about job that you need or vice versa. When you get a new friends, of course your social link will also bigger and grow. Furthermore, you can also get more information about your hobby deeper when you discuss with your friend on your community. Is it interesting right? To share things that you love with your friends. I bet you will have a longer time to discuss one thing with them. The bigger link is more better for yourself.

Second is about your hobby. Just like told about on the second paragraph. It’s about hobby and passion bro! When you like to do somethings or collecting things that you like, it can brings you to your passion. By joining in a community, you do your hobby and passion in a single time. Do the things that you like is so fun! For me as an example, since I love motorcycle from when I was a kid and then joining a community, now I can implement my hobby deeper. Now I can know several things which are bikers do like hand signals, ethics code as a biker, and also live in an organization which is a thing that you can’t get in a formal study. I even don’t know about those things before I joined an automotive communnity. What I know before I joined it, is just automotive, brand, and speed, that’s it... But after I joining it, it can enrich the knowledge about my hobby. The more you know about your hobby, you will love it as a part of your life.

Okay, that’s all about my thoughts about a community. I bet that any other peoples will have another ideas and thought, but let me share about my ideas above. One thing you should know that when you interesting to join a community, join the positive one! In a society, there are also a negative communities which is very identical with a criminal world and you have to avoid it. Join the positive one, and you will feel that your passion become as part of your life. Joining a community is not about just join it, but it can makes your life more colourful with the thing that you like. Are you interest to start your journey with your hobby by join in a community?

20 Years! Story of 22 September 1995

Hi guys, it's a little bit long time since i post something about my story in last month. Today, I'm very happy because today is my birthday. I'm very happy because God give me a breath for live until this day, at least until this 20 years old. Other things are I have a great friends in campus, and also now I have so many new friends. It is because there is a freshmen are start they study in our campus. There are so many new friends that I know from semester 1, more know personally about them from semester 3, more closely and solid than before around my friends from semester 5. My life is more colorful now since there are so many peoples with their unique characters and also behaviors. Even the assignments in this fifth semester are more tough and hard, but I'm still gratefull because I have a solid friends in my class and my batch, especially in 5PBI1. And also, I can learn about leadership in my organization, ACES, because I have been elected to be the Head Division of Competition. Well, so many stories that happen for me at this time. So many colour of life that fill my day everyday. Now, I'm 20 years old. Yeah, 20 years old! Now my age is with  the number 2 as a head. Not really old I thinj, it is just a start of more maturity I think. Today, all of my friends are give their birthday greetings for me. I really love you guys, you are still care with me until now. Hmm, since it is my birthday, I want to give you an information about the date of 22 September 1995. Sounds Interesting right? I want to explain about me and all of the peoples behaviour and personallity that was born in this day, 22 September. Not having a long chit chat, let's discuss about this beautiful day for me. 6 Promises for Myself

At this time, there are so many things happen for me. Most of them are the things or stories that I didn't want to know it. But, the good thing is I think I got several lessons from what is happened to me right now. This lessons are teach me when I got those things that makes me feel upset to the people around me. After I think and keep thinking about this one in this recent weeks, I commit myself to have named "6 Promises for Myself." What is "6 Promises for Myself" anyway? 6 promises is a things that I make for myself to more caution with the condition and also more selective with the person that I choose. You know that friends and enemies are similiar to me, both of them are just like a reflections that haunting me for all days. So, to make another bad things happen and to prevent any conflicts with another persons, I commit myself to make "6 Promises for Myself". So, what is the content of the "6 Promies for Myself" itself? The contents are :

1. Never Trust Anyone
This one is a logic one for me since I've been dissapointed by several peoples around me. I've been dissapointed because I have already trust them but it seems that they are not trust with me. The extreme one is several of peoples are make my dream lost and must forget it forever. It seems that trusting anyone and anybody with wholeheartedly is the mistake that I have been made. Never trust anyone because all of them are have a reasons why they are standing with you and after they get it, you are alone and also you are on your own.

2. Never Expect Anyone or Anybody
Same with the number 1 but if the number one is about trust, number 2 is about expecting people. Expecting people such as help us, and something kinda like that. It is better now to work alone withou expecting someone or somebody because if they just help us only a half way, all of our dream or target will be disappear and lost forever. It happens to me now, and this time, all of my dreams are lost because of expecting too much with other peoples.

3. Be a Cold Person
This is not be a person that full of ice, it is about a person that don't really care about around me and don't really care about anything such as another persons problem. Be a cold person because I've been tired to help people. Not because I hate to helping people, but I dissapointed because where they are when myself need a help?

4. Focus with Only Myself, Not Others
Yes this one is an important thing I think. At sevral times, it seems that I have been focus on other peoples than myself. It is time to focus with myself, and never involve with others problem. Even they need my help to give a suggest or e.t.c, just give an asnwer that "I don't know". It's a soft thing to do to tell that I don't know, if they are insist, extreme action is allowed.

5. Think About Only My Dreams, Targets, and Achievements without Thinking Others
I've been helping peoples in several things, but know, it's time to help myself, not them. It is enough to helping peoples targets, dreams, or achievements. After I help them, then what? I don't get anything, even a word "thank you" is not. When I focused on myself, several peoples are trying anything to stop me and my dream. I have been be a nice guy at this time, if anybody or anyone are trying again to stop me and my dream, achievements, e.t.c, extreme action is a best thing to do.

6. Be Careful on Which Side That you Stand or Live
There are so many peoples that it seems like ther are good and nice with you but there are something that is is hide for you and they are not looks like nice as you think. Be careful on which person that you trust. Not of them are the persons that you can't trust. Once you stand or live in a wrong side or decision, you are end up.

The truth for this one is I never expect to do this and commit myself to be kinda like that, but the condition is force me to do that. Not because I am becoming bad or a be a cruel person, I'm just want to make a caution with myself. I don't want dissapointed by other peoples and also I don't want my another dreams are gone or lost because of several persons. I am just tired because of my condition for this recent times, ang people again and again give me a pressure, pressure, and pressure. It seems like my head and my heart wants to blowing up. I just want even just a one thing that can makes me happy and someone that standing with me together. I don't know until when I keep this promises and exist in myself, only the time and the conditions will answer it.

How to treat your "Ex"? Be a friend, enemy or stranger?

Hi, I'm back. Well, today i would to talk about something a bit sensitive about the feelings. No no, it is not about my feeling with someone anyway. This is about the idea of about with your ex - girlfriend or boyfriend and how you treat that person after both of you end your relationship as a couple. So people, how are your feeling with your ex - girlfriend or boyfriend? Is it after you end your relationship with him or her, everything is just fine and act like a ordinary friend? Or if there is something happened, you and the person now is the enemy for each other? Or both of you ignored each other? Well, this is not about true or false questions, every questions or opinion about that is true because it your own opinion and statement. One day, I ask some of my friends at the college about this question. Many of them told me that if you end your relationship, you must still be a friend. Some of my friends, mostly girl, give the opinion that you just ignore your ex. Well, this question for some people are make them confuse how to answer this question with the right answer. For me personally, I will make a good relationhip as a friend with my ex after we conclude that we end the relationship as a couple. But in case, i will make a distance with that person if she already have another new lover. This is not make me ignore the person, I'm still make a good communication as a good friend too. For me personally, I don't like to be a stranger with the person that i already know, especially with my friends or ex. In case, some of my friends told me about their opinion of became an enemy with their ex. Well, I know, they have a reasons why they already be an enemy with their ex. About this case, I'm still respect their answer. For me, it's okay because I think they know the best answer for their feelings. If the best answer is be an enemy with your ex is a last asnwer, there are no other words to stop it. But, I suggest that even you have a bad memories about your ex, try to forgive the person and still be a good friend for each other. I know, if you want to ignore the person, well that's okay but at least you already try to be a good and nice with the people that you already know. If you try to act be good and nice, even you have a bad memories with that person, one day the person will try to be good and nice with you and maybe that person will forget about the bad things that both of you already get together. So, as a conclude, try to be nice with your ex because there is no loss if you act nice and good with that person. If you still have a problem with your ex, talk together and forgive each other. Well, a world be nicer if you don't have any person that you hate and not act like a stranger with the person that last time fill your time together with love. It doesn't matter with your answer if you want to be a friend, enemy, or a stranger. You have your own answer about this one which is the best answer for you and your ex.
