Month of Complicated

Well this month is a busy month for me. A month that really complicated, full of busy time, a lot of assignments, conflict between each others, problem in the organization, and all of the pressures is very close with me for this month. Yeah, May is the month that full of story and pressure for me. Starting that 2 weeks that full of national competitions, ALSA UI and The ICON Untar, we did good but unfortuantely, we didn't win for both of those competitions. The pressure of the competitions is something that me and several of my friends feel that it is make us very tired. After that, the busy time is continue when I am be a commitee for subtitling competition for internal of my campus and external from the other campus. Subtitling competition, and then problem in the organization between several of the members. There is a problem that it is makes situation is messed up. One say that, another one say this, the other want say another again, it is a messy situation. Well, personally, due to the fact that I'm tired and feel stressed up after the competitions and being a commitee, after something makes me angry, I decided keep my mouth shut and keep my anger just for myself. Days has been flow, another conflict is come between me and several persons. It is about being a new candidate for the next leader in my organization. Honestly, it makes me really angry and have a conclude that everyone can be an angel and can be a devil in a single time. Fortunately, the conflict has been resolved by us and each side have been satisfied with each agreement that we were agree. After of those stories from this whole days in a single month, the conclude is this month is full of pressure, problems, and also a little bit messy. But just take a positive thinking and also positive side from each problems. We can know that first, it is better to keep your anger, etc, just for yourself. It is useless to show your anger, dissapointed, etc, because it's just can make problems or conflicts more worst. Second, do not believe in each persons or a words that just a gossip that you've been heard about. Honestly, I try to believe to every persons that I met, but everything is change since it is come a gossip or a words that peoples think that it is from my word or I do that, so they will think that I'm a bad person. It is a good idea to keep your idea, dissapointed with specific person, or anything else just for yourself and the only know about that is only yourself. We don't know which one is an angel and which one is a devil. Both of them are quiet similiar if you live in a society that have a different peoples. The other thing that it is makes me feel to think hard and have a pressure about that is become a leader for my organization and the final exam. Yet, it is still unknown that where the campaign and also the ellections is held. But I hope that I can be the next leader if a chance on my side. I want to make my organization is more better that before, make each persons in my organization growing up together, being a leader together, and teach them to be a better person. I hope that next month will be more friendly with me. I'm just can pray to God that everything will be okay, makes me be a better person, give me a strength to pass each day and not to easy to giving up, give me a great thing and also another experience that it is very usefull for me, and the important one is God will be with me and also direct my way through all the days. Story of The ALSA National Competition 2015

This is about the story of The ALSA National Competition 2015 that I have been participated several days ago. Well for me, the competition for this year is more spectacular beacuse there are 700 delegates from many universities around Indonesia. This year, my campus, Universitas Bunda Mulia has send delegates to participate in the category of Battle of Brains (BoB) and Spelling Bee. For Bob, there are 2 teams and for Spelling Bee, there are 2 persons joined up. This is the names that represent UBM for the competition :

- Bob team A : Christopher Setiadi, Ramon Adianto, and Sarah Waturangi
- Bob team B : Evi Citra Dewi, Jovid Jonathan, and Claudia Desyntha
- Spelling Bee : Marianne Naftalia and Marchelli Pricilia

First day is for technical meeting and opening ceremony. All of the delegates meet up at the UBM Housing and we together go to the UI with train due transportation for us from campus is not available for that day. So, at the morning, the story start when we go to UI with tarin. It is very fun at the train in the morning. This is the first time for Marchelli using train and this is my second times using train since I'm at the third class in the junior school. The situation of the train is not really crowd, so we can sit on the train, chat and enjoying the view from the train together. At the 7 in the morning, we arrived at the UI station. We walk together to the Faculty of Law. After we arrived, we re - regist ourselves and sit together at the bench to wait for the opening ceremony. When the opening cermony begin, we sing our national anthem "Indonesia Raya" and watch several traditional dances and also several traditional songs. After that, due the technical meeting is on the afternoon, we take our breakfast at the canteen. We order several foods such as fried chicken, hamburger, and noodle. The campus gives us money to use it for our breakfast, lunch and also for our transportation. Time goes on and the afternoon come. The technical meeting is start. For the technical meeting of Bob, we see several rules and also several rounds for the competition itself. And, the technical meeting also for draw the team to which group they will stand. And after the draw, I got group that contains of UPI team B and also Unair and for the UBM team B got Upan and UPI team A. Wow, we surprises for the result of that draw itself. After the techincal meeting, we go back to Jakarta with the train to the destination of Jakarta Kota station. We reach the Jakarta Kota station around a hour and when we arrived on there, we luckily got the campus bus, so we can go back to campus easily and free. How lucky we are! After we reach the campus, we go home and take a rest for the competition.

Secon day, it is the day for Battle of Brains (BoB) competition. The team A and also team B go to the UI with a car from campus and also Mr. Alvin's car. Mr. Alvin and Mrs. Suwarni will with us to accompany the teams during the competition. And also, Ricky, Marianne and Tracy joined us to be our supporters. The team A go with Mr. Alvin's car and for team B and the supporters go with the campus car. We arrived at the UI and wait for the re - registration at 10. While we waiting for the re - registration, we take our breakfast on the canteen again. The time is come. we re - regist and enter the room for the competition. The team A and team B separated in two room.  Ricky and Tracy watch and be a supporters for team A and Marianne and Mrs. Suwarni watch and be a supporters for team B. Because I joined up in the Team A, I just give you a story from my room. The competition is start and I feel the pressure condition of the competititon and also for every rounds itself. There are several rounds like Jumble Words, Jumble Paragraph, Kill or Be Killed and the last one is Overkill. For the Jumble Words, we lost 2 points and for the Jumble Paragraphs, we lost at least 3 points. The round of 'Kill or Be Killed' is begin. It is the tough round. Every participants can kill other opponents participants and save their teams member if the persons has been killed. Ramon has been killed by UPI team B but I save him later. After that, it seems UPI team B and Unair are kill each other and our group are wait for the best time. After we wait for the good time, Unair lost all his member and lost at this round, after that we kill all the participants from the UPI team B and we won the round. The last round is come, UPI team B and Unair are still killing and decreasing each other. At the end, Unair has been defeated with the score 40 and next is our team, UBM team A got 120 points, and the winner is UPI team B with 220 points. Both of the teams from our campus didn't make it into the semi final. I'm very dissapointed and feel sad at that time but Mrs. Suwarni give us applause and said we did a good job. To cooling down our minds and our feeling of dissapointed, we buy an ice cream and spend our time a while before we go back to UBM. Before we go back, we take a picture in front of the faculty and after that we go back to our campus.

Third day, I didn't go the UI because I have been defeated last day and just the participants of Spelling Bee that goes to UI. Marianne and Marchelli are attend the Spelling Bee competition with Mr. Alvin with some supporters, Tracy and Flavianna. Both of them are reach the quarter final, but for the semi final, just Marchelli that she is reach the semi final. Marianne defeated at the quarter final. After the competition, their took some pictures at the faculty and go back to our campus.

Well, I'm still very disapointed because I didn't make it to reach at least to the semi final, but game is a game. Win or lose is common in the competition. I hope, next year I can participate in this competition again and I wish that me and my teams reach at least the semi final or maybe the final.
