Well, I hope you don't feel bad or blue because of this rain. Today, let's learn about language. I'd like to give an information about 3 alphabet in 3 language, sound interesting right? Yes, let's see this alphabet from 3 different language. This three languages have a similiar words or meaning itself. The 3 languages are Indonesian language, English language and Dutch language. For me, this three languages are related each other. At this time, I know this three languages. As you can see, Indonesian is my mother language, English is my major at college, and Dutch is the language that I learn now too and I'll take a course for this language start on next year. Okay, let's discuss this three alpahabet using 3 language.

- English Alphabet :
English alphabet is the second alphabet that you must know due English is the international language. This is also the basic thing that I must know as a student of English language and Culture department. This is the worldwide language at this time. This language and alphabet are available on United Kingdom, Uniteed States, Australia, and many British commonwealth country. The letter of alphabet itself is same like Indonesian alphabet :

- Dutch Alphabet :
This is a little bit difficult alphabet for me due I'm still learn about Dutch language. This alphabet is same like English and Indonesian. Especially for Indonesian, this alphabet is very similiar due some of the Indonesian language are from Dutch language. Even it's have a similiar alphabet, but it is have a little bit different from that two languages above. The Dutch alphabet are available on The Netherlands, Belgium, and Suriname. The alphabet of Dutch is :
    A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R T U V W X Y Z

E: e
F: ef
G : khe / kh
H : ha
I : i
J : ye
K : ka
L : el
M : em
N : en
O : o
P : pe
Q : ky
R: er
S : es
T : te
U : u
V : ve
W: we
X : eks
Y : ei
Z : zed

So, as you can see above, that 3 languages are have a similiar and just have a little bit at the pronounce. In fact, these 3 languages are related each other. English - Dutch language are related because it is West-Germanic Languages. And for Indonesian-Dutch language are related because Indonesia is the Dutch colonial and over 350 years, Indonesian people at Dutch period using Dutch language itself. So, that's all about a simple thing about language in the 3 different language. Hope this simple article is useful for you and increase your knowledge about language. Dank U en tot ziens fellas!

  1. Greetings Christopher :) I see that this time you have posted some educational things. This is very interesting, but perhaps you could have written it using the phonetic symbols? You are in a language major after all hehe :) but the phonetic symbols probably wouldn't appear correctly in the blog anyway, so never mind hahaha. Personally, I prefer Japanese if I were to study another language. I tried studying it once, but I gave up after I had to start memorizing the Kanji letters hahaha :p ... Well, I hope you don't give up learning Dutch. Who knows, it might come in handy someday :) ...
